Funeral Home Manager

Job Description

As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be integral in the operation and maintenance of machinery used for cutting and shaping stone materials. Your role requires a high level of skill in ensuring accuracy and quality in cutting processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all funeral service operations and administration.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of funeral professionals.
• Communicate effectively with families to arrange services according to their wishes.
• Ensure effective inventory management of caskets and other funeral products.
• Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and training needs.
• Address and resolve issues related to service delivery and staff performance.
• Act as the liaison between the funeral home and the community, ensuring visibility and support.
• Ensure a compassionate and professional atmosphere in all interactions.

Requirements

Education

• Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration
• Level 5 Diploma in Funeral Services Management (desirable)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in funeral services with a management focus preferred
