High School Football Coach

Job Description

Join us as a High School Football Coach, responsible for developing players' skills and sportsmanship. The successful applicant will cultivate a competitive yet supportive atmosphere, enabling young athletes to thrive academically and athletically.

Responsibilities

• Instruct players on the technical as well as tactical aspects of football.
• Organise and oversee all team activities, including drills and matches.
• Monitor players’ academic performance and eligibility for competitions.
• Engage with parents and guardians to communicate player progress and address concerns.
• Foster a positive team culture that promotes inclusion and respect.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe training environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Education or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of coaching experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strength and Conditioning
• Video Analysis Software

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Level 3 Football Association Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Playing experience in collegiate football: Previous participation at a collegiate level.
• Knowledge of football regulations: Understanding of local, national football regulations, and competitions.
