Job Description

We are actively seeking a Logistics Operations Planner to enhance our supply chain strategy. The ideal candidate will coordinate and execute logistical operations while analysing and optimising processes to boost efficiency. This is a dynamic role that requires a keen understanding of supply chain management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics planning efforts, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Develop metrics to assess performance and ensure achievement of goals.
• Provide insights and recommendations for logistics optimisation based on data analysis.
• Establish strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Monitor shipping schedules and manage freight forwarding activities.
• Assist with the development of supply chain disaster recovery plans.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to improve logistics capabilities.
• Assist in training new recruits in logistics processes and procedures.
• Create and maintain documentation of all logistics processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent experience

Experience

• 4+ years of logistics management experience

• Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)
