Job Description

We are seeking a First-Line Supervisor of Office and Administrative Support Workers to oversee our steno pool. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring timely transcription of legal proceedings, and fostering a supportive work environment for our team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the stenography team, ensuring high productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth workflows.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies.
  • Report on team performance and suggest improvements.
  • Provide training on new technologies and software used in transcription.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement among staff.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on departmental activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Certification in court reporting or related field is essential
Experience
  • 3+ years in court reporting or a related field, with management experience highly desirable.
