Job Description

As an Animal Care Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary staff with the care and treatment of animals. Your responsibilities will include assisting in clinical procedures, providing support to pet owners, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for the animals in our care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare animals for surgical procedures, including sedation and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Assist in post-operative care and monitoring of recovery.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Document all treatments and changes in animal conditions accurately.
  • Assist in conducting outreach programs to promote responsible pet ownership.
  • Work collaboratively in a team to enhance the clinic's overall efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Animal Management or related field
  • Higher qualifications in veterinary nursing preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary role preferred
