Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Language Arts Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in educational methodologies and a dedication to fostering a love for reading and writing in students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach English Language Arts to secondary school students.
  • Devise engaging lesson plans that foster student interest in literature and writing.
  • Evaluate and track student performance, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate language arts into interdisciplinary projects.
  • Encourage creative expression and critical thinking among students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance.
  • Participate in school-wide activities and contribute to the school's mission.
  • Adapt teaching materials for diverse learning needs and styles.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in English or Literature
  • Master's degree in Education is preferred
