Job Description

We are seeking skilled Operating Engineers and Other Construction Equipment Operators to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating mucking machines and other heavy equipment on construction sites, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and control different types of construction machinery.
  • Assist in the training of new operators on machinery operation and safety.
  • Manage the transportation of materials from construction sites to designated areas.
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment to identify necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work hours and machine performance.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Adapt to various work conditions and environments as required.
  • Ensure tools and machinery are kept organized and in good condition.
  • Support the team in achieving project goals through effective communication.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational training preferred
  • Additional certifications in heavy machinery operation are a plus
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in construction or heavy machinery operation
