Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee our projects in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will manage site operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for coordinating between various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of the construction process from planning to completion.
  • Manage site logistics, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Ensure materials are used efficiently and safely.
  • Perform risk assessments and take corrective measures as necessary.
  • Document project changes and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Facilitate problem-solving among project teams.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior site management staff.
  • Ensure adherence to technical specifications and building codes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among trades and subcontractors.

Requirements

Education
  • HND or equivalent in a construction-related discipline
Experience
  • 5 years of experience managing construction sites
