Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Geodetic Surveyor Technologist to join our team. You will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and collecting data to determine the shape, size, and other characteristics of the Earth's surface.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior surveying staff.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in geodetic surveying technologies.
• Contribute to process improvements and quality assurance initiatives within the surveying team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field
• Professional certification in Geodetic Surveying (e.g., RICS, CICES, ICES) preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in geodetic surveying

Technical Skills

• Proficient in using geodetic surveying equipment and software
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working on infrastructure development projects: Having a background in projects related to civil engineering and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with aerial photogrammetry techniques: Knowledge in capturing measurements from aerial sources.
• Knowledge of geospatial data standards and regulations: Understanding legal frameworks governing geospatial data.
