Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Auditor to join our team in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that our clients meet their obligations while optimizing their tax positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits following established protocols to ensure compliance with tax legislation.
• Review client submissions and prepare recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare and present findings in clear, professional reports.
• Conduce client training sessions on tax obligations and compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Compile and analyze financial data for audit purposes.
• Assist in continuous improvement of the auditing process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in tax auditing or accounting
