Tax Evaluator

Job Description

As a Tax Evaluator, you will be responsible for evaluating and analysing tax data to ensure compliance with relevant laws. You will provide accurate tax advice to clients and collaborate with internal teams to resolve tax-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of tax data for compliance with current legislation.
• Offer tailored tax advice and strategic planning to enhance client financial positions.
• Keep abreast of any legislative changes affecting taxation.
• Review tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with accounting and legal teams to ensure seamless service.
• Prepare and present written reports on tax evaluations to management.
• Provide guidance to clients in navigating complex tax regulations.
• Develop training materials for junior staff related to tax compliance.
• Engage directly with clients to discuss tax-related concerns.
• Utilise tax preparation software to streamline the evaluation processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA) is a definite plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in tax compliance and evaluation.
