Rubber Splicer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Rubber Splicer to join our team. The Rubber Splicer will be responsible for repairing and splicing rubber conveyor belts and other rubber products. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform rubber splicing operations using specialized equipment.
• Prepare and clean surfaces prior to splicing.
• Monitor splicing processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide guidance to junior team members on splicing techniques.
• Monitor stock levels of rubber materials and tools.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Engage with clients to understand their specific splicing needs.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant experience in rubber splicing or manufacturing preferred.
• Technical diploma or equivalent is advantageous.

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant experience required.

Certifications

• Rubber Industry Standards Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
