Job Description

We are searching for a passionate Sociology Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will deliver impactful lessons and workshops, support students' academic growth, and contribute to the development of a robust Sociology curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement interactive Sociology classes tailored for undergraduate students.
  • Mentor students and provide individualised support based on their academic needs.
  • Research contemporary issues in Sociology and integrate findings into teaching.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Engage in collaborative curriculum development efforts with faculty.
  • Participate in various academic committees to improve institutional practices.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Advise students on higher education opportunities and careers in Sociology.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Sociology or related field
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education preferred

  • 3+ years in academia
