As a Leather Sorter, you'll play a crucial role in our production line, ensuring that leather goods are sorted and classified according to stringent quality standards. Your keen eye for detail will help maintain our reputation for excellence and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Sort leather according to established criteria and quality standards.
• Conduct thorough inspections to detect flaws and deviations.
• Document sorting activities and results meticulously.
• Implement best practices for quality assurance.
• Engage with colleagues to enhance productivity and teamwork.
• Maintain sorting tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Label and catalogue sorted products for easy retrieval.
• Ensure workspace meets hygiene and safety regulations.
• Participate in training for improved sorting techniques.
• Assist in inventory management of sorted items.

Requirements

Education

• Basic education (GCSEs or equivalent)

Experience

• Prior experience in leather sorting or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
