Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health assessment and therapy, along with the skills to support a diverse range of clients. Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose clients with various mental health conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualised treatment programmes.
  • Lead educational workshops aimed at mental health awareness and stigma reduction.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for client therapies.
  • Provide follow-up care and continuous monitoring to track improvements.
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and client progress meticulously.
  • Engage with external agencies for referrals and support services.
  • Promote mental health initiatives within the local community.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Master's degree in Mental Health is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in mental health settings
