Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Direct-Entry Midwife to join our healthcare team. As a Direct-Entry Midwife, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth.
Responsibilities
Assess expectant mothers and develop appropriate care plans.
Handle deliveries and provide immediate postnatal care.
Monitor mother and infant health during check-ups.
Lead patient education initiatives on childbirth and postpartum care.
Collaborate closely with obstetricians and nursing staff.
Provide referrals when complications arise during care.
Maintain up-to-date certifications and training.
Engage in continuous professional development activities.
Requirements
Education
Registered Midwife (RM) qualification
Advanced Midwifery qualifications are preferred
Experience
Experience in a hospital or birthing center setting is preferred
