Job Description
As a Tar Worker, your main duties will include applying hot or cold liquid tar, ensuring smooth and even surfaces, and adhering to strict safety guidelines. Previous experience in tar work or road maintenance will be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
Prepare work sites by cleaning and leveling surfaces before applying tar.
Skillfully apply liquid tar while ensuring quality and consistency.
Manage and operate tar machinery to maintain operational efficiency.
Conduct repairs on existing tar surfaces to extend lifespan.
Follow all relevant safety protocols to protect yourself and your team.
Collaborate effectively with different teams to ensure timely project completion.
Perform inspections on completed surfaces to guarantee high standards.
Document all work processes and materials used on-site.
Requirements
Education
No formal qualifications required, but relevant certifications preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in tar work or related field
Technical Skills
Experience with operating tar application machinery and equipment
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction
