Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Relocatable Over-the-Horizon Radar Watch Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining radar systems, ensuring accuracy, and detecting any anomalies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work collaboratively within a dedicated team, participating in critical surveillance operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor radar feeds and assess system functionality during operations.
• Report and log discrepancies or incidents in radar system performance.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed analysis reports summarising operational procedures and findings.
• Conduct regular system checks and ensure optimal performance of radar systems.
• Participate in emergency response drills and crisis management training.
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness regarding operational conditions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to radar technology advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field
• Certification in Radar Operations or similar is highly regarded

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years working experience in radar operations or related field
