Job Description

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our Glasgow team. You will play a crucial role in providing technical support to staff and clients, helping to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software problems, managing IT requests, and ensuring that all systems operate smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Offer expert advice to users regarding hardware and software best practices.
  • Conduct system upgrades and updates.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation.
  • Engage in ongoing training to remain knowledgeable of software updates and new technologies.
  • Assist in developing IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide support during IT projects and deployments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk role
