Job Description

As a Civil Engineer with us in Glasgow, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and oversight of various construction projects. You will work collaboratively with a team of engineers and architects to create effective and efficient solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with local authorities and communities during project execution.
• Conduct on-site inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advances to enhance project outcomes.
• Utilise software for structural analysis and design, such as AutoCAD.
• Prepare grant proposals and documentation for project funding.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders and contract documents.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
• Engage in professional development to stay current in the field.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration among project teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering
