Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Technician to oversee compliance with safety regulations and contribute to our commitment to creating a safe work environment. The successful candidate will develop and implement safety policies, conduct inspections, and provide training to employees.

Responsibilities

• Implement comprehensive safety training for all staff members.
• Perform risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Prepare and manage documentation related to safety protocols and audits.
• Stay updated on health and safety legislation changes.
• Ensure that all employees adhere to safety standards and protocols.
• Facilitate safety workshops and seminars for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with management to develop safety improvement strategies.
• Collect and analyse data on workplace incidents to identify trends.
• Act as a point of contact for health and safety-related queries.
• Work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH or similar)

Experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare or medical services setting preferred
