Job Description

As a Credit Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in our finance department by managing credit applications and ensuring prompt processing of credit transactions. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting customers with inquiries, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance our credit management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Inputting and processing credit applications accurately.
  • Conducting thorough credit checks and assessments on new clients.
  • Keeping track of overdue payments and following up with clients.
  • Communicating clearly with customers regarding their account statuses.
  • Assisting in the monthly reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Updating system information accurately for all transactions.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports for management review.
  • Working closely with sales and legal teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement of credit processes.
