Job Description
As a Meter Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective functioning and maintenance of utility meters across customer premises. You’ll need a keen eye for detail and solid problem-solving abilities to handle installations and repairs efficiently.

Job Responsibilities
  • Carry out regular meter readings and record the data accurately.
  • Diagnose faults in meters and execute repairs or replacements efficiently.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work performed.
  • Liaise with customers to arrange service appointments.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in metering technology.
  • Collaborate with the utility team to improve service delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Complete requisite training to enhance your skill set.
Job Requirements
  • Relevant vocational qualification in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Electrical Systems Knowledge Understanding of electrical systems is vital for safe and effective maintenance.
  • Diagnostic Tools Proficiency Ability to use testing and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot faults.
  • Problem-solving Exceptional ability to analyse issues and implement solutions.
  • Communication Skills Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
  • Health and Safety Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with Smart Metering Systems: Familiarity with the latest smart metering technology is a plus.
  • Background in Renewable Energy Systems: Knowledge of renewable energy systems is advantageous.
