Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant with a solid background in risk assessment and compliance to join our team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will assist in safeguarding our systems and protecting sensitive information by implementing the best cybersecurity practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing security measures and recommend enhancements.
• Design and implement security controls tailored to client needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align cybersecurity initiatives.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents for anomalies.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare reports for management.
• Guide technical teams on implementing security best practices.
• Ensure documentation of security-related activities is maintained.
• Review and assess third-party vendor security practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting
