Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant in Birmingham to provide guidance and solutions to our clients in safeguarding their digital assets. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of cybersecurity protocols, risk assessment, and incident response. You will be a vital part of a dynamic team, engaging with clients to develop tailored strategies that mitigate risks and enhance security measures.

Responsibilities

• Lead security workshops and training sessions for clients.
• Manage security projects from inception to completion.
• Assess third-party vendors for compliance with security standards.
• Implement and manage firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
• Provide expert advice on cloud security and data management.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
• Advise on business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed in accordance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Master's degree in Information Security or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or related roles
