Prestressed Concrete Laborer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Prestressed Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with prestressed concrete and will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, installation, and maintenance of concrete structures. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team members to ensure effective workflow on site.
• Assist in the measurement and laying out of concrete elements.
• Support the installation and tensioning of prestressed cables.
• Conduct quality checks on concrete pouring and finishing.
• Document daily progress and report to site management as required.

Requirements

Experience

• At least 1-3 years of experience in prestressed concrete work or similar construction roles.

Technical Skills

• Prestressed Concrete Techniques
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Precast Elements: Experience working with precast concrete components is a plus.
• Heavy Machinery Certification: Certification for operating heavy machinery is advantageous.
