Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of auditing procedures and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. You will work closely with clients to understand their business and provide tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Assess risks and develop audit programs tailored to specific client needs.
  • Prepare and review audit documentation to ensure quality.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Engage with clients to maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Contribute to the development of the audit department.
  • Stay informed on accounting and auditing trends.
  • Support the implementation of new audit methodologies.
  • Assist in resolving complex accounting issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Relevant accounting certifications such as ACCA or ACA are advantageous.
Experience
  • 5+ years in audit or assurance roles.
