Job Description

As a Mental Health Specialist in Cambridge, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to individuals facing mental health challenges. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and document patients' mental health histories and treatment responses.
  • Collaborate with social workers and case managers in managing complex cases.
  • Lead support groups and therapeutic workshops to enhance community engagement.
  • Utilise evidence-based practices to inform treatment approaches.
  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health.
  • Conduct research on best practices in mental health care.
  • Supervise and train junior staff and interns.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mental Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology is preferred

  • 3+ years experience in clinical settings
