Healthcare Compliance Officer

Job Description

As a Healthcare Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our healthcare facilities comply with all local and national regulations. You will assess and monitor compliance with policies and regulations while implementing best practices to enhance patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality improvement initiatives focusing on compliance.
• Lead investigations into compliance breaches and recommend corrective measures.
• Communicate compliance issues and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
• Establish compliance metrics and monitor performance.
• Engage with patients and families regarding compliance-related feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Relevant certification (e.g., CCO, CPHQ) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of healthcare compliance experience

Technical Skills

• Compliance Auditing
• Risk Management

• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
• Healthcare Quality Certification (CPHQ) preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of eHealth technologies: Familiarity with electronic health records and compliance software.
• Previous experience in training staff: Experience in delivering training on compliance topics to staff.
