Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal Engraver to join our talented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating intricate designs on various metal surfaces. This role demands a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and familiarity with various engraving techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Utilise a variety of engraving tools to produce high-quality designs.
• Interpret CAD designs and adjust as necessary for engraving.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure all details are accurately represented.
• Perform regular maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards of finished products.
• Assist in training new engravers by sharing best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of project timelines and materials used.
• Stay informed of the latest engraving technologies and techniques.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and ideas.
• Assist in developing new engraving techniques for improved efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Formal training in metal engraving techniques is a plus.

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in metal engraving or related fields.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Laser Engraving: Familiarity with laser engraving technology is advantageous.
