We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our Brighton office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of structural design principles and be skilled in using modern engineering software. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analysing structures, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards while innovating solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative structural designs in collaboration with project teams.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential project challenges.
• Review and approve project designs before implementation.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• Reinforced Concrete Design
• Steel Design

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
