Job Description

We are on the lookout for Cargo and Freight Agents to manage and oversee shipping logistics. This role is pivotal in ensuring that goods are transported efficiently and punctually across various routes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the shipping process from booking to delivery.
• Communicate with transport companies regarding schedules and cargo handling.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain records of shipments and inventory levels.
• Address client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team for effective loading and unloading.
• Evaluate shipping costs and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in logistics operations.
• Provide training and support to new staff members.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Requirements

Education

• A-levels or equivalent qualifications
• University degree in Logistics or Business is beneficial

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding
