Job Description

As a Buying Agent, you will be instrumental in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods for our retail operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional dedicated to ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research to find reliable suppliers for various farm products.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to establish beneficial terms.
• Work alongside internal teams to ascertain their procurement needs.
• Keep abreast of market fluctuations affecting pricing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Create and manage purchase orders without errors.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly.
• Identify areas for efficiency improvements in the procurement process.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
