Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Animal Caregiver to join our passionate team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is dedicated to animal welfare and possesses the skills to provide exceptional care for a variety of animals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to a variety of animals, ensuring they are well-fed, groomed, and exercised.
  • Create a positive and safe environment for animals and visitors.
  • Support in identifying animals ready for adoption and assist in the process.
  • Educate the public on responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
  • Collect data on animal health and behavior for periodic reports.
  • Engage in continuous learning related to veterinary practices and animal care.
  • Assist with setting up and managing events for community engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the animal care team to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Provide emergency care where necessary and implement care plans.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional qualifications in animal husbandry or veterinary assistance preferred.
Experience
  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in animal care.
Technical Skills
  • Expertise in Animal Training Techniques
  • Knowledge of Veterinary Medicinal Tools

Certifications
  • Shelter Manager Certification (desirable)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
