Job Description

As a Farm and Home Management Educator, you will guide and mentor students in the Future Farmers of America program. Your role will involve providing leadership, support, and expertise in agricultural practices, ensuring students accomplish their educational and project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mentorship and support to students in the Future Farmers of America program.
  • Lead workshops and educational sessions on various agricultural practices.
  • Encourage participation in agricultural competitions and leadership events.
  • Delegate responsibilities for projects and provide oversight.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programmes and refine as necessary.
  • Engage with local agricultural organizations to foster community involvement.
  • Promote sustainable agricultural practices among students.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Create an inclusive and motivating environment for all students.
  • Assist in the development of curriculum aligned with regional agricultural standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Agriculture, Education, or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in coordinating FFA programs or similar youth organisations is preferred

  • Knowledge of agricultural practices
