Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our esteemed Special Education Department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support for students with diverse learning needs, fostering an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavioural strategies and support techniques to aid students in reaching their educational goals.
  • Regularly assess and document student performance and behavioural issues in a systematic manner.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Engage in team meetings with other teachers and school staff to discuss student developments.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviours and implementing appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Review and adapt curriculum materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Experience with specific learning disabilities preferred
