Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Manager to oversee our network operations in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing telecommunications projects, ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of network services.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and optimise network designs for scalability and resilience.
  • Develop training programs for staff on new network technologies and processes.
  • Monitor network performance, analysing metrics to proactively resolve issues.
  • Collaborate on disaster recovery plans and network continuity solutions.
  • Ensure that the network infrastructure aligns with organisational goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Lead incident response efforts to resolve network outages efficiently.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of IT initiatives affecting network operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Networking, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Master's degree with a focus on Telecommunications is a plus
Experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in network operations management
