Job Description

We are seeking a Press Offbearer to join our dynamic team. The Press Offbearer will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the press machinery, working closely with the Press Operators and the production team to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator in running the printing press efficiently.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from the press as needed.
• Monitor the printing process and ensure that quality standards are upheld.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
• Perform basic routine maintenance and repairs on the press and related equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations throughout the operational process.
• Communicate effectively with team members to meet production requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a machine operation role is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of Press Machinery
• Basic Computer Skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or printing environment is beneficial.
• Basic Understanding of Press Machinery: Familiar with the functioning of press machinery.
