Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rolling Mill Operator Helper to assist in the operation of our rolling mill equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with the rolling mill operator to ensure the smooth running of the machinery while maintaining high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Help in the calibration of machines and equipment.
• Monitor equipment for any signs of malfunction or wear.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Support general maintenance activities as required.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, previous experience preferred

Experience

• Experience in a steel production facility is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical systems understanding
• Knowledge of metallurgy

Soft Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of safety protocols: Experience in adhering to safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
