Job Description

As a Cupola Melter at Foundry Works Ltd., you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a cupola furnace to produce molten metal. Your expertise will ensure that the melting process meets quality standards and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start the cupola furnace while observing safety measures.
• Control the melting process to achieve desired material properties.
• Conduct tests on molten metal to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of raw materials and supplies.
• Review and maintain accurate logs of furnace performance.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams for material testing.
• Engage in regular clean-up and maintenance of the work area.
• Inform management of any safety issues or equipment failures.
• Stay abreast of advanced cupola melting techniques and innovations.
• Work closely with the production team to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• No specific academic qualifications required.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a foundry.
