Job Description

As a Network Security Administrator at Tech Innovations Inc., you will be responsible for safeguarding our network systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols and a proactive approach to mitigate potential threats.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update firewall and network access controls.
  • Implement measures to limit data exposure and enhance encryption.
  • Maintain an inventory of security tools and software.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on spotting phishing attempts.
  • Collaborate with the IT team for system upgrades and changes.
  • Advise on security improvements for new and existing systems.
  • Assist in the development of security awareness programmes.
  • Participate in incident response drills and exercises.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a similar discipline
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in network security or related field
