Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Transportation Analyst to join our team in Lisburn. This role involves analysing transportation data and optimising processes to improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, as well as excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess transportation costs and implement strategies to improve profitability.
• Review and enhance transportation methods for both inbound and outbound logistics.
• Participate in the development of transportation plans that align with company objectives.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans.
• Track and assess performance against benchmarks and targets.
• Collaborate with IT to leverage technology for transportation efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, or related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Operations Management is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in logistics or transportation roles

• Spreadsheet Software

• APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)
