Job Description

As an Import/Export Specialist at Logistics Solutions Ltd., you will manage and coordinate the movement of goods across international borders. You’ll ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, optimising our processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a compliance checklist for import/export operations.
• Prepare regular reports on import/export performance metrics.
• Assist in the development of strategies for international expansion.
• Monitor changing international trade laws and advocate for necessary adjustments.
• Manage documentation for permits and licenses for exports.
• Encourage team collaboration to resolve complex problems.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during transportation.
• Engage in training and development opportunities related to international trade.
• Network with other industry professionals to stay current on best practices.
• Participate in trade shows and conferences to represent the company.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a focus on Supply Chain or Logistics
• Master's degree is advantageous.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in international logistics.
