Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childhood Development Teacher to join our team. As a Childhood Development Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment where children can develop essential skills and gain knowledge for their overall growth.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for young children.
  • Ensure the physical, social, and emotional well-being of children in the classroom.
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages exploration and curiosity.
  • Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing individualised attention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification/qualification
  • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of Montessori or Reggio Emilia approaches: Familiarity with child-centred educational methods.
