Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our Newcastle team. This role involves designing, developing and testing electrical systems, ensuring they meet all required specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering, with experience in both industrial and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing electrical systems and recommend improvements.
  • Design circuit layouts and schematic diagrams.
  • Supervise electrical installation and commissioning processes.
  • Assist with project budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and report on developments to management.
  • Lead training sessions for junior engineers and interns.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in electrical engineering.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role
