We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Sunderland team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems, ensuring that they meet industry standards and client requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovative engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Innovate and implement mechanical engineering solutions.
• Lead design review meetings and gather feedback.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials and processes for designs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide efficient solutions.
• Ensure environmental and safety regulations are followed in designs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• Advanced CAD Software
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with prototyping techniques: Experience with rapid prototyping and testing methods.
