Conventional Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Conventional Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of machines to manufacture metal components used in various industries.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations.
• Utilise precision measuring instruments to verify components.
• Document production metrics and report any discrepancies.
• Work with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of an apprenticeship in machining is advantageous
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• Proven experience in CNC machining is a plus.
