Job Description

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our Glasgow team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations of IT systems. You will work closely with our team to offer top-notch assistance to our users while enhancing your technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with software and hardware-related problems.
• Ensure timely installation of software updates and patches.
• Monitor and maintain IT support ticketing system.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement of IT services.
• Support security initiatives and compliance checks.
• Evaluate new hardware/software for potential integration.
• Serve as a point of contact for all IT-related inquiries.
• Work on IT projects, including upgrades and migrations.
• Help build and maintain a knowledge base for users.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance IT service delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Certifications in network administration or IT support

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in technical support
