We are on the lookout for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Sheffield. In this role, you will design, develop, and test mechanical devices, ensuring they meet rigorous industry standards. Responsibilities

• Develop design specifications and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Coordinate with testing teams to assess product performance and durability.
• Engage in cost analysis for material and design selections.
• Facilitate workshops to brainstorm and troubleshoot design challenges.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Cultivate relationships with clients to understand their engineering needs.
• Utilise simulation software to predict product performance under various conditions.
• Contribute to project estimations and resource planning efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or design

• Prototyping

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred

Languages
