Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Lag Screwer to join our well-established construction team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in carpentry and be adept at installing lag screws in various materials while adhering to safety regulations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the structural integrity of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Install lag bolts and structural screws in accordance with construction drawings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with other carpentry duties as required.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and any challenges.
• Ensure all materials and tools are available before commencing tasks.
• Ensure timely completion of tasks according to project timelines.
• Liaise with site management to ensure alignment with project goals.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but training in construction or carpentry is preferred.

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience in construction or carpentry required.

Technical Skills

• Power drills
• Blueprint interpretation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CSCS Card: Having a valid CSCS card is preferred.
• Experience in other trades: Experience in plumbing, electrical, or painting trades is a plus.
